PC Setup /general advice / troubleshooting

 

We can help with all sorts of problems from complete breakdowns to minor irritations such as a system running slow or a printer not working correctly.   We will discuss the issue with you on the phone and pay you a visit at no extra charge to you.   We will either fix it on the spot or, if necessary we will take it away to have it mended, keeping you informed and in control all the way.   We can often lend you a PC to ensure that you are not left deprived while your PC is being repaired.

 

 

Wireless Networking

 

Even in the home environment it is becoming increasingly desirable to have a wireless network with all the flexibility that that entails.   We will set this up for you and ensure all your peripherals (printers, scanners, faxes etc) are working smoothly

 

 

 

Broadband / Internet Security

 

We can help you with setting up your Broadband and then protecting your system from viruses and Spyware.   Should you have children using the computer we can ensure the correct child blocks are in place.

 

 

 

Email / Skype / webcams

 

Many of our customers are reliant on their PCs to keep in contact with friends and relatives back in the UK.  It is vital to have email and skype up and running, and if there’s a webcam, so much the better.  

 

 

 

Data Recovery

 

The most likely thing to go wrong with a computer is a hard disk failure.  Should this happen we will try our best to recover the data for you.   However, this is not always possible, and we would always strongly recommend a regular backup routine, even for the home PC.  We are very happy to discuss options with you.    We could, should you wish it, conduct a regular, remote backup for you.  

 

 

 

PC Servicing

 

We recommend regular PC servicing, to keep your machine running smoothly and efficiently and to prevent any annoying and costly breakdowns.   

 

 

 

Remote Support

 

With any problems you have, or even regular PC servicing, as long as your Broadband connection is up and running, we can diagnose and resolve a lot of problems remotely, thus resolving the problem quicker and at a fraction of the cost.  

 

 

 

Support Contracts

 

To ensure the most efficient and cost-effective service for small businesses, we provide on-going support contracts, enabling us to work as a “virtual IT manager”, ensuring the PC is running smoothly and providing priority quick response time should something go wrong
